DeBaun, Sunday, July 4, at 10 a.m., after a lingering illness. The deceased was 82 years of age and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth DeBaun, and six children: Mrs. Roswell Ryerson of Paterson, N.J.; Mrs. W.F. Gray,and Messrs. John G., J.Y., P.I. and J.P. DeBaun, all of the county. The deceased came to Norfolk county in 1869 from New Jersey. Since living here he made many friends, who will regret to hear of his death. He was one of the best known men of the county. The funeral will take place Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the residence of his son, John G. DeBaun, in the county. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. ********************************************************************* The funeral of Garrett D. DeBaun was conducted from the home of his son, John G. DeBaun, near Providence Christian Church yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Rev. Mr. Thompson, pastor of Park Place Christian Church, assisted by Rev. J.O. Cox, pastor of the South Norfolk Christian Church, officiated. The interment was in Magnolia Cemetery. The pallbearers were: J.M. Williamson, T.W. Butt, A.J. Truitt, Geo. H. Fry, Samuel Adams and John Cuthrell.
