DeBaun, widow of Garrett D. DeBaun of Norfolk county, died yesterday morning at 2:30 o'clock, at the residence of her son-in-law, W.F. Gray, 43 Poindexter street, after a lingering illness, in the 83d year of her age. She was a native of New Jersey, but had been residing in the county for the past forty-three years, during which time she made many warm friends, she being one of the best known ladies of the county. She is survived by two daughters and four sons, as follows: Mrs. W.F. Gray of South Norfolk, Mrs. R.G. Ryerson of New Jersey; James, John, Jacob and Peter I. DeBaun. The funeral will take place from the above residence on Friday morning at 11 o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. R.E. Scott, pastor of Liberty Street M.E. Church. The remains will be interred in Magnolia Cemetery.
