DeBaun, aged 71, a well known and successful farmer of the Providence section, Norfolk County, died yesterday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock at a local hospital after an illness of three weeks. He was a native of Patterson, N.J. but had spent 60 years of his life in Norfolk County, and was one of the best known men in that section. Mr. DeBaun was a son of the late G.G. and Mrs. Elizabeth Young DeBaun. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Lucy DeBaun; two daughters, Mrs. C.S. Wilson and Mrs. I.W. Doxey, of Norfolk; three sons, Garrett DeBaun, James Y. DeBaun, Jr. and Oscar DeBaun, of Norfolk County; one sister, Mrs. Hattie Ryason, of Patterson, N.J. and three brothers, J.G. DeBaun and P.I. DeBaun, of Norfolk County and J.P. DeBaun of Norfolk. The body will be taken from the funeral home of E. Lee Cox, 124 East Berkley avenue, to the residence at Providence this afternoon. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox. Burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
