Mr. DeBusk, retired merchant, was a native of Damascus and had been a resident of Norfolk for 50 years, residing at 9617 Fourth View Street at the time of his death. He operated a grocery store on 38th Street for 45 years. He was a member of Modern Woodmen of the World and I.O.O.F. Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Richard L. Brown, Mrs. Jesse A. James and Mrs. Algernon L. Roberts; three sons, John D. DeBusk, Isaac Woodrow DeBusk and Daniel J. DeBusk, eight grandchildren and three great- grandchildren, all of Norfolk, and a step-sister, Mrs. Lucy Widener, of Clay Spring. Funeral services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, today at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Earl I. Lewis, pastor of Zion Methodist Church, of which Mr. DeBusk was a member. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
