Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - January 21, 1994
Vivian Merrill DeBusk, 77, of the 900 block of Glenrock Drive, Hampton, and 
formerly of the 3500 block of Orange St. in Norfolk, died Jan. 20, 1994, in a 
Hampton Hospital. 
Mrs. DeBusk was born in Newport, N.C., and was the widow of Isaac Woodrow DeBusk 
Sr. She was retired as a clerk typist from the Naval Supply Center. She was a 
member of Zion Grace United Methodist Church and was a former member of the 
Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Isaac W. DeBusk Jr. of Hampton and William Lee 
DeBusk of Keene, Texas; three sisters, Elizabeth Neilsen of Smithfield, N.C., 
Gracie Borton of Norfolk and Mildred Cherry of Chesapeake; one brother, Albert 
Leland of Albany, Ga.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. 
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Elmwood Cemetery by 
the Rev. Charles Hubbard. The family will receive friends at Smith & Williams 
Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
