NORFOLK - Peter G. Decker Sr., 70, of 536 W. Ocean View Ave., the husband of Mrs. 
Rose M. Decker and a retired employee of Norfolk Naval Air Rework Facility, died 
Wednesday in a hospital.

Born in Hardine, Lebanon, he lived in this area 50 years.  He worked for the naval 
facility 30 years and retired.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Lee John and Mrs. Dorothy 
Cory, and three sons, George P. Decker, Joseph M. Decker and Peter G. Decker Jr., 
all of Norfolk; two sisters, Misses Mary Decker and Ann Decker, and a brother, 
Daniel Decker, all of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; and 17 grandchildren.

A Christian Wake service will be said Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic 
Church, where the body will remain Friday evening.

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in Holy 
Trinity Church with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.  H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments has charge.
