NORFOLK - Gerald Leo Decker, 49, of 4101 Columbus Ave., a native of Norfolk, died 
Friday in a hospital.

Mr. Decker had retired from a job at Norfolk Naval Air Station.  He was a member 
of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Rodgers Decker; his mother, Margaret S. Decker 
of Norfolk; a daughter, Carrie Lind, and a son, David A. Decker, both of Norfolk; 
and a sister, Corinne Tull, and a brother, Cameron A. Decker, also of Norfolk.

A Joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday in Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church by the Rev. Thomas B. Nee.  Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.

The family will be at the residence.  A Christian wake service will be held at 7 
p.m. Sunday in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk.
