NORFOLK - Shirley McKinney Decker, 72, of the 1100 block of Larchmont Crescent, 
died March 12, 2008, in her residence. She was a native of Bellhaven, N.C. and was 
the daughter of the late Robert and Iola Gibbs McKinney. She was preceded in death 
by her husband, Alfred Michael Decker; her daughter, Deborah Kay Decker; her 
sister, Polly Hatley and her brother, Horace McKinney.

She was a Roman Catholic and a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Diane Decker Jones and her husband David and 
Darlene Francis Decker both of Norfolk; her sister, Delma M. Smith of Chesapeake; 
two grandchildren, Brooke Renee Painter and Megan Clair Jones, as well as numerous 
other family members and friends.

The family invites friends and family to please join them for a graveside service 
at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. The Rev. Father Joseph Metzer 
III will officiate.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
