Virginian Pilot February 22, 1902

The many friends of Mr. George A. Degge learned with sadness of his death, which 
occurred at his home, on Pollard Street, Huntersville, at 10:30 o'clock Thursday 
night, after an illness of several months.  He was 71 years old.  The deceased 
was a brother of Mr. William B. Degge and father of Mr. Paul C. Degge, of this 
city.

DEGGE - At his residence, Pollard Street, Thursday, February 20, 1902, at 10:30 
p.m., GEORGE A. DEGGE, in the 72d year of his age.
The funeral will take place THIS (Sunday) AFTERNOON at 3 o'clock from the 
Christadelphia Hall, on Brambleton Avenue.  Friends and acquaintances invited to 
attend.
