DeHart, 79 years old, died yesterday afternoon at 4:50 o'clock at the residence of his son, Charles E. DeHart, 420 Randolph Street, Portsmouth. He is survived by three sons, C.E. DeHart, of Portsmouth; G.T. and A.P. DeHart, of Norfolk; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren. The body was taken to the funeral apartments of V.H. Smith, 631 Olney Road. Notice of funeral will be announced later. ***************************************************************************** John W. DeHart, who died Thursday afternoon in the residence of his son, Charles E. DeHart, 420 Randolph Street, will be buried this morning in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 o'clock in the funeral apartment of V.H. Smith, Olney Road and Manteo Street, Norfolk. Mr. DeHart was 79 years old. He had lived here for the last 15 years. He is survived by three sons, C.E. DeHart, of this city, and G.T. and A.P DeHart, of Norfolk. Fifteen grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren also survive him.
