She was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk daughter of the late Leonard and Mrs. Mary Hardison Knapp, and is survived by her husband, Charles E. DeHaven; five sisters, Mrs. Edwin N. Hall, Virginia Beach, Mrs. William B. Goff, Mrs. George M. Bacon and Mrs. L.W. Styve, of Norfolk, and Mrs. J.P. Rawling, Sheboygan, Wis., and three brothers, Leonard, Peter H. and Adolph Knapp, all of Norfolk. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Bro. Westover avenue at Manteo street, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the family plot in Elmwood Cemetery.
