Submitted by Joe Patterson Norfolk Virginian-Pilot, Nov. 14, 1943 DeHAVEN, CHARLES EDWIN, aged 68, husband of the late Annie Knapp DeHaven, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday morning at 12:30 o'clock after an illness of two weeks. He was a native of Michigan and had resided in Norfolk and Portsmouth for the past 25 years. He made his home at 625 Lenden street, Portsmouth. Mr. De Haven was employed as a salesman for Prices, Inc. Funeral services will be conducted at the Gregory Funeral Home this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. ANNA KNAPP DeHAVEN wife of Charles E. DeHaven, and daughter of the late Leonard and Mrs. Mary Harrison Knapp, aged 53 years. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Brother. Westover avenue at Manteo street, THIS [Friday] AFTERNOON ast 2 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. Mrs. Anna Knapp DeHaven - Funeral services for Mrs. DeHaven, whose death occurred Wednesday, will be conducted at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Bro., Westover avenue at Manteo street, this afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. E. P. Miner, rector of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Elmwood Cemetery. March 11, 1910 newspaper not known DEHAVEN, MRS. LUCY B. Mrs. Lucy B. DeHaven, wife of Chas. E. DeHaven, died at her home, 520 Franklin avenue, at 8:10 o'clock yesterday morning in the 27th year of her age. The deceased was a native of Norfolk, where she was well known and highly esteemed.
