Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark March 6, 1930

 Charles A. Delaney - Funeral services for Mr. Delaney, aged 70, who died 
Sunday night, were conducted yesterday at noon at H.D. Oliver's Funeral 
Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason Street, by the Rev. T.A. Smoot, D.D., pastor 
of Epworth M.E. Church.  Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery.  Mr. Delaney 
was a son of the late Edward and Amanda Hodges Delaney.  He is survived by his 
wife, Mrs. Sallie E. Delaney.
