Delany, whose death occurred at St. Vincent's Hospital Sunday, in the 63rd year of his age, was for many years connected with the Barnard Stove and Tinware Company here. He was a native of Norfolk, where he resided all of his life and had many friends here. He is survived by a sister, Miss Annie A. Delany and a brother, Charles Almond Delany. The funeral will be held from the apartments of Funeral Director H.C. Smith, 179 Bank Street Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. F.G. Davis, of Queen Street and Trinity M.E. Churches. ******************************************************************** The funeral of the late Geo. H. Delany was held from the apartments of Funeral Director H.C. Smith, 179 Bank Street, Friday afternoon. The service was conducted by Rev. Fred G. Davis, of Queen Street M.E. Church. The interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery. The following were the pallbearers: H.M. Rodgers, J.H. Brooks, W.F. Sovey, W.B. Bililsoly, E.K. Brooks and J.H. Spratly.
