Norfolk Virginian June 5, 1891

Mr. Allie T. Delk, son of the late E.H. Delk, a native of Norfolk, but for 
the past twenty-five years a resident of Philadelphia, died in that city 
Wednesday.  His remains will be brought to this city Saturday by the New 
York, Philadelphia and Norfolk line for interment in the family burial lot.

The remains of Allie T. Delk, whose death in Philadelphia took place some 
days ago, arrived here yesterday morning over the New York, Philadelphia and 
Norfolk route and were interred in Elmwood Cemetery, Rev. W.C. Vaden, of the 
Chestnut Street M.E. Church, Berkley officiating.  The following were the 
pallbearers: Messrs. J.W. Gilmer, J.H. Walters, J.D. Gale, T.C. Gale, C.J. 
Dey, J.S. Rogers, M.C. Keeling and W.B. Dougherty.
