Virginian-Pilot  December 14, 1916
The funeral of Miss Rosa F. Demaio took place at 10 a. m. yesterday at St. Mary’s 
Catholic church, conducted by Rev. P. P. Brennan and Rev. George Dunn, and was 
largely attended. There were many floral tributes. Mrs. James Hughes sang “Abide 
with Me." Among the floral offerings was a cluster of roses and palms from the 
Italian Independent Association. Burial was in St. Mary’s cemetery. The 
pallbearers were: Paul Harris, Frank Prepnite, John Fritzinger, B. Grillo, Frank 
Panella, Manuel Martin, Dennie Margiotel and C. O. Bell.
