Maison, 85, French language teacher, who resided in Norfolk 43 years and taught in St. George's School prior to 1918, was found dead yesterday afternoon in her home at 320 West 26th Street. Later, she returned to Paris and not only taught the language, but also gave instructions in music. She came to this country in 1902, settling first in Pittsburgh. In 1910, she came to Norfolk and taught French at St. George's School until 1918, after which she became a private teacher. During World War I, she was active in music circles, when she aranged numerous concerts and bazaars for the benefit of French war refugees. She retained her French citizenship through the years. As far as could be determined, she has no survivors in this country. The body will be taken from the H. D.
