The Virginian Pilot January 8, 1960
Miss Lucy Deming, 87, daughter of Edward C. and Mrs. Frances Geisling Deming, 
died Thursday at 9:40 a.m. at her residence. Miss Deming was a lifelong 
resident of Norfolk, residing lately at 716 Carolina 
Ave. She is survived by nieces and nephews.  She was one of the charter members 
of Epworth Methodist Church. The body was taken to H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m., by the 
Rev. Edgar A. Potts D.D.
