Norfolk - Mrs. Della A. Demory, 74, of 313 Walnut St., the widow of Nickles 
Demory and a native of Jackson, NC, died Sunday in a hospital.

She was a Baptist.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mittie Bell of Weldon NC, and Mrs. Ella 
Mae Sutton and Mrs. Lillie Bell Sutton of Norfolk; two sons, Ernest Demory and 
Haywood Demory of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Ella Williams of Weldon; four 
brothers, Chester Allen and William Allen of Newark, NJ, Archie Allen of 
Norfolk, and Frank Allen of Weldon; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-
grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. in Hale Funeral Chapel with burial in 
Calvary Cemetery.
