Norfolk Virginian Pilot September 17, 1953

Anthony Joseph DeNegri, 70, husband of Mrs. Maria Rossi DeNegri and son of the 
late Joseph and Mrs. Anna Cichero DeNegri, died yesterday at 3:40 p.m. He was a 
native of Camogia, Italy, and a resident of Norfolk 50 years, residing at 157 
Chester Street, Commodore Park, at the time of his death.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Miss Adele DeNegri, of New 
York and Mrs. Anna T. Lawson, of Norfolk; three grandchildren; four sisters, 
Miss Lena DeNegri and Mrs. Irma Marsiglia, both of New York; Mrs. T.H. Spindle, 
of San Antonio, Texas; and Mrs. Yola Marsiglia, of San Marino, Calif. and 
several nieces and nephews.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church, Ocean View, of which Mr. DeNegri was a member, for funeral 
services Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary 
services will be conducted at the funeral apartments tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.

Anthony Joseph DeNegri — The body of Mr. DeNegri, who died Wednesday, will be 
taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 
Ocean View, for funeral services tomorrow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be conducted at the funeral apartments 
tonight at 7:30 o’clock.
