Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch November 18, 1941
DENNIS, EDNA MEARS – At the residence, 216 Maycox avenue, Monday night, November 
17, 1941, at 7 o’clock, EDNA MEARS DENNIS, wife of Charles Nelson Dennis and 
daughter of Mrs. Adeline Quillan Mears and the late C. A. Mears, in the 48th year 
of her age. Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home 
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, November 19, 1941, at 3:30 o’clock. Friends of the family 
invited to attend. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
