DERRING, JOHN AUGUST – At his residence, 525 W. 29th street, Apartment No. 4, 
Tuesday morning, April 26, 1938, at 12:30 o’clock, JOHN AUGUST DERRING, beloved 
husband of Mrs. Ida Bell Derring, in the 72nd year of his age. Funeral services 
from the Derry Funeral Chapel, 1920 Colley avenue, corner Harrington, THURSDAY 
AFTERNOON, April 28, 1938, at 2 o’clock. Friends of the family invited to attend. 
Burial, Elmwood Cemetery.
