Derry, was solemnized from the Cumberland Street Methodist Church at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon and was universally attended by the friends of the deceased. The service was conducted by Rev. W.G. Starr, D.D., pastor of the church. The music was rendered by the choir of the church of which Mrs. Derry, before her marriage, was for many years a leading soloist. The hymns rendered were special favorites of the deceased. There was a wealth of beautiful floral tributes, among them a large standing harp from the buyers and floor walkers of Miller Rhoads & Swartz, and a beautiful standing crescent from the choir of the Cumberland Street Methodist Church. The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery. The following were the pallbearers: A.J. Lord, H. Linnell, C. Walmsley, W.W Bennett, C.R. Taylor and Hunter Wilson.
