Norfolk Journal and Guide Feb 20,1937
Fred DeShields, 40, of 2617 Middle Street, died at his home, Friday, February 5,
and his funeral was held at the Grace P. E. Church with the Rev. B. W. Harris,
pastor, officiating on Sunday, February 7.  He was born in Bermuda and lived
here for three years.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucy DeShields, and two
brothers.  He was buried in West Point Cemetery.
