NORFOLK — Edgar Deshotel, 68, of 1610 Morris Ave., son of Oliver and Mrs. 
Marcelite Creder Deshotel, died Sunday at 8:30 a.m. in a hospital.
A native of Louisiana, he had lived in Norfolk for 27 years.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. F. L. Chory and Mrs. Agatha Hunnington of 
Norfolk; and two nieces, Mrs. Shirley Hartman of Norfolk and Mrs. Louise Powers of 
Lansing, Mich.
The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Christ the King 
Catholic Church for a funeral service Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited in the funeral apartments tonight at 
8:30.
