Virginian-Pilot  December 20, 1946
Mrs. Marclette Deshotel, 78, of 4612 Wolcott Road, died at a hospital yesterday at 
10:10 a.m., after an extended Illness. She was a native .of Rein, La., but had 
made her home in this section for 10 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Chory, and Mrs. Agatha Huntington; 
one son, Edgar Deshotel, all of Norfolk; three brothers, Alseed Creder, Alisa 
Creder and Acard Creder; one sister, Mrs. Alice Trahan; seven grandchildren and 
several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at St. Mary’s Catholic Church tomorrow at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services wi11 be conducted 
tonight at 8 o’clock at the Gregory Funeral Home.
