DeSilva, 64, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 10:30 p.m. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Etta Newton DeSilva and a native of Portugal. He resided here for 35 years. He was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion Post No. 36. He was employed by the Woods and Forestry Division of the City of Norfolk. He is survived by a son, Lawrence R. DeSilva; one daughter, Mrs. M.T. Dobias, both of Norfolk. The body was taken to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Home. ******************************************************************** Anthony R. DeSilva — Funeral services for Mr. DeSilva, who died Tuesday, were conducted at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church yesterday at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Thomas Summers. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. The pallbearers were E. L. Bacher, G. M. Keister, Robert B. McGill, Richard F. Loper, Robert F. Mills, John Falls, Frank R. Jones and Harry A. Haberthier.
