Norfolk Virginian Pilot July 30, 1950

Mrs. Livia DeStefano, 73, widow of Frank DeStefano and daughter of Joseph and 
Mrs. Philomena DeFrancesco, died Friday at 9:15 p.m. at a Norfolk hospital. She 
was a native of Italy and had been a resident of Norfolk for 56 years, residing 
at 256 Lucille Avenue a the time of her death.
Surviving her are four daughters, Mrs. M. Artese, of Norfolk; Mrs. S. Hess, of 
Elizabeth City, N.C.; Mrs. Phyllis Raper, of Norfolk and Mrs. R.H. Ivey, of 
Brooklyn, N.Y.; three sons, Joseph DeStefano, Louis DeStefano and Frank 
DeStefano, all of Norfolk and five grandchildren.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Mary's 
Catholic Church for services Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the funeral apartments tomorrow night 
at 8 o'clock.
