The funeral of Miss Ann Devereux took place yesterday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's 
Catholic church, conducted by Rev. Edward P. McAdams of Baltimore and Rev. John J. 
Doherty, and was largely attended. There were many floral tributes. During the 
service, Mrs. James Hughes sang "Abide With Me." Burial was in St. Mary’s 
cemetery, the pallbearers being J. R. Coleman, W. M. Hannan, Patrick O’Connor, 
John Mariner, M. McKevitt, J. F. Lawler, James Kerr and M. T. Friary.
