Virginian-Pilot  June 26, 1950
Maurice Devine, 75, husband of Mrs. Harriett Shepard Devine and son of the late 
Pohn and Mrs. Margaret Enright Devine, died at a local hospital today at 7:18 a.m.

He was a native of Troy, N. H., and had been a resident of Norfolk for 25 years, 
residing at 709 Graydon Avenue at the time of his death.

Besides his wife, Mrs. Harriett Shepard Devine, he is survived by one daughter, 
Mrs. Margaret Devine Burroughs, of Norfolk, one son, William J. Devine, of 
Hollywood, Calif., and a sister, Miss Elizabeth A. Devine of Cambridge, Mass.

The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for services Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock.  Interment will be in 
St. Mary's Cemetery.
