Norfolk Virginian Pilot October 9, 1950

Paul Devlin, 45, husband of Mrs. Patricia Coughlin Devlin and son of Mrs. Mary 
Bader and the late Joseph Devlin, a native of New York city and a resident of 
this section for 10 years, died at his residence, 36th Street and Holly Road, 
Virginia Beach, Saturday at 11:30 p.m.
Besides his wife and mother; he is survived by three sisters, Miss Helen Devlin, 
of New York, Sister Gabriel Marie, of Maryknoll Sisters, and Mrs. M. Noelle, of 
New York and three brothers, Thomas, James and Joseph Devlin, all of New York.
The body will be taken from the residence to the Star of the Sea Catholic 
Church, Virginia Beach, for funeral services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be 
in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Paul Devlin — Funeral services for Mr. Devlin, who died Saturday night at 
Virginia Beach, were conducted at the Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Virginia 
Beach, yesterday at 10 a. m. by the Rev. Nicholas Habets, pastor. Burial was in 
St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk. Undertaker’s assistants served as pallbearers.
