Annie S. Dew, of the 1400 block of Shank St., a retired school cook, died Oct.
24, 1990, in a hospital.

Mrs. Dew, a native of Wilson County, N.C., had retired from the Norfolk Public
School System after 25 years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church No. 1 in
Portsmouth and was the widow of Joseph Dew.

Survivors include a niece, Catherine S. Woodard of Wilson, N.C.; and four
great-nieces.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Holy Trinity Church No. 1 by
the Rev. James Dixon. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . A wake service will
be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Hale Funeral Home. Friends may also join the
family at the residence.
