Dey and eldest daughter of the late Thomas D. and Amelia Ann Toy, of this city. Funeral services from the above residence TODAY (Tuesday) at 12 o'clock. *************** Mrs. Mary Jane Dey, wife of George W. Dey, died at her residence, 312 Bute Street, Sunday morning at 11 o'clock after an illness of ten days of grip, the result of a severe cold she contracted. The deceased was in the 72d year of her age and was universally esteemed in the community for her many endearing traits of character and Christian virtues. Mrs. Dey was the mother of George D. Dey, Walter H. Dey, Calvert R. Dey, William M. Dey, Mrs. C.L. Whichard and Miss Mary Dey. She was the sister of Prof. Crawford Toy of Harvard University, Prof. Walter Toy of the University of North Carolina and Dr. Robert Toy of Atlanta, Ga., all of whom will be here to attend the funeral, which will be held from the residence at noon today and will be conducted by her former pastor, Rev. W.M. Vines, D.D., of the Baptist Church, Brooklyn, N.Y.
