Mrs. Dey was a Philadelphia lady and had no relatives in this community, yet her estimable character made for her many friends in Norfolk and vicinity. She leaves a husband and three little children, who miss and mourn her very much. The funeral was preached from residence yesterday at 4 p.m., Dr. J. J. Hall officiating. The following are the names of the pallbearers, all from the country: Messrs. Frank Coleman, W. W. Simpson, J. R. Simpson, B. E. Simpson, Thomas Frost and Wm. Lassiter. Interment was in Elmwood.
