The Virginian Pilot August 16, 1950
Mrs. Georgie Etta Dey, 74, wife of Thomas Mercer Dey, died at the residence of 

her daughter, Mrs. Eloise Dey Cathey, 5621 Cottage Toll Road, yesterday at 5:25 

a.m.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs, Eloise Dey Cathey, 

of Norfolk; and Mrs. Elasma Dey Lally, of Washington; a granddaughter, Miss 

Elizabeth Campen Johnson, and two grandsons, Stanley Robert and Rogers Dey 

Cathey, all of Norfolk.

Mrs. Dey was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and a member of the Epworth 

Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 

at 11 a.m.  Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
