ORA DEY, 91, WIDOW OF JOHN DEY Mrs. Ora Malbon Dey, 91, the widow of John Benjamin Dey, former Princess Anne County farmer and a leader in the public life of Tidewater, died Wednesday at 5:45 a.m. in her home at 1696 Great Neck Road. A lifelong resident of Princess Anne and Virginia Beach, she was a daughter of Thomas William and Mrs. Meneva Hill Malbon. Her husband, who died in December 1957, was a former member of the House of Delegates, county supervisor and School Board chairman. Their picturesque home, surrounded by rich farm land, was built under a patent granted in 1640. She was a member of Epworth Methodist Church and Princess Anne Garden Club. Surviving is a son, John Furman Dey of Virginia Beach. A funeral service will be conducted today at 3 p.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, by Dr. Owen T. Kelly and the Rev. Reuben W. Blevins Jr. of Epworth Methodist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk.
