Virginian Pilot March 28, 1901

DEY - At the residence, No. 433 Duncan Avenue, on Wednesday, March 27th 1901, at 
11:50 o'clock a.m., C MARSHALL, son of James B. and Georgie P. Dey in the 23d 
year of his age.
The funeral will take place from the family residence THIS (Thursday) AFTERNOON 
at 4:30 o'clock. Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend.

Mr. Marshall C. Dey, son of Mr. and Mrs. James B. Dey, departed this life at the 
home of his parents, No. 433 Duncan Avenue, at 11:50 o'clock yesterday morning 
in the 23d year of his age. The deceased was a clerk in the Citizens' Bank, this 
city, and was highly esteemed by all connected with that banking institution. He 
died of consumption. This is the second son that Mr. and Mrs. Dey have lost 
within the past two weeks. The funeral will be announced later.
