DEY - On Friday, April 9, 1909, at 5:30 o'clock a.m., JAMES B. DEY, in the 68th 
year of his age.
Funeral services from the residence, No. 433 Duncan Avenue, TODAY (Saturday) at 
12 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment private.

James B. Dey, a widely known and esteemed resident of Norfolk, who had been 
under treatment at St. Vincent's Hospital, died at that institution at 5:30 
o'clock yesterday morning in the 68th year of his age. He was a native of 
Norfolk, where for a number of years he taught school. He is survived by a 
widow, a daughter, Mrs. J.E. Norsworthy of Petersburg; a son, J.B. Dey, Jr.; a 
brother, George W. Dey and two sisters, Mrs. C.A. Nash and Mrs. Nathaniel 
Burruss, all of Norfolk. 
The funeral will be held from his late residence, 433 Duncan Avenue, at noon 
today.
