Virginian Pilot December 23, 1970

Mrs. Mary B. Dey, 92, of 7211 Granby St. died in the Mary F. Ballentine Home 
Tuesday.
She was a native of Knotts Island, N.C. and lived here most of her life.
She was the widow of William S. Dey and a daughter of Eugene and Mrs. Nancy 
White Ballance.
She was a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music.
She is survived by a grandson, retired Navy Capt. W.G. Abbott of Norfolk; four 
nieces, Miss Nandy F. White of Moyock, N.C., Mrs. Alice Harrell of Norfolk, Mrs. 
Goldie McGlawhon of Florida and Mrs. Lida Harrison of Virginia Beach.
The body was taken to H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.
