Virginian-Pilot November 8, 1943
Maj. Richard Dickson, U.S.M.C. - Funeral services for Major Dickson, son of 
William Petty and Mrs. Nellie Tait (sic) Talbott Dickson, who died Thursday 
afternoon at Jacksonville, Fla., will be held at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock, with the Rev. Stiles Lines,
rector of Galilee Episcopal Church, Virginia Beach, and the Rev. Reginald Eastman, 
of Gloucester, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
