Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch September 30, 1944
DICKSON, WILLIAM PETTY – At a local hospital, Friday, September 29, 1944, at 9:25 
o’clock a.m., WILLIAM PETTY, husband of Mrs. Nellie Talbott Dickson and son of the 
late William C. and Mrs. Mary Petty Dickson, in the 59th year of his age. Remains 
will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, No. 1501 Colonial avenue, 
to Christ and St. Luke’s church for services SUNDAY AFTERNOON at 2:30 o’clock. 
Interment, Elmwood cemetery. Please omit flowers.
