Norfolk Journal and Guide, May 25, 1957
James P. Dickson, 1436 West 46th street, died May 19 at a local hospital.  He
was the son of the late Ben and Easter Dickson, and a native of Windsor VA.

The funeral was held May 22 at Hale’s Funeral Home with the Rev. H. H. Bobbitt,
pastor of First Baptist Church, Lamberts Point, officiating.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucille Dickson;  one daughter, Miss Anne Marie
Dickson;  four sons, James, Cartrelle, Carroll, and Aubrey Dickson, all of Norfolk.

Hale Funeral Home was in charge.
