Diggs, aged 66, widow of William J. Diggs, died yesterday afternoon at 3:40 o'clock at a local hospital. She was a native of Virginia and had been a resident of Norfolk for 60 years. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. T.J. Reilly, Mrs. C.P. Twiford and Mrs. S.W. Fulford; four sons, W.O., H.B., B.O. and F.R. Diggs, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. ************************************************************************* Mrs. Margaret E. Diggs — Funeral services for Mrs. Diggs were conducted yesterday morning at 10:30 o’clock at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the Rev. R. B. Kealey, officiating. Other ministers present were Mgr. J. T. O'Farrell, the Rev. E. A. Brosnan, the Rev. P. P. Brennan, the Rev. Leo J. Ryan, the Rev. H. Hartigan, the Rev. Robert Shickling and the Rev. A. J. Taylor. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The pallbearers were John Mariner, B. P. Wall, J. Anthony Butt, T. B. Hatton, W. M. Hannan, S. J. O’Connor, William Doherty and L. V. Carey. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
