Norfolk Virginian April 28, 1896
DIGGS – At residence of her son-in-law, W. B. Aydlotte, 122 North Reservoir 
avenue, Brambleton, at 8:30 a.m., April 27th, 1896, EMILY H. DIGGS, widow of 
thelate Benjamin F. Diggs, aged 63 years.
The funeral will take place from the residence THIS (Tuesday) AFTERNOON at 3:30 
o’clock. Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to attend.
