Norfolk Virginian August 28, 1887
DIGGS – This morning, August 28th, at the residence of its parents, in Mayfield, 
M. W., infant son of M. W. and PENNY A. DIGGS, aged 3 months and 25 days.
Funeral will take place MONDAY, 29th instant, at 3 o’clock.
    Another baby is gone,
    Which makes number eight;
    He entered Heaven through
    The beautiful pearly gates.
