DIGGS, WILLIAM CHRISTOPHER – At a local hospital, Tuesday, October 12, 1948, at 
7:25 o’clock a.m., WILLIAM CHRISTOPHER, son of the late John Bailey and Mrs. Sarah 
Elizabeth Carr Diggs, in the 95th year of his age. Services at the chapel of the 
H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, No. 1501 Colonial Avenue, THURSDAY AFTERNOON at 2 
o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
