Virginian Pilot June 4, 1957

Roger Di Giovanni, 38, husband of Mrs. Gloria P. Di Giovanni and son of the late 
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Di Giovanni, died yesterday at 5 a.m. at a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Di Giovanni was a native of Barletta, Italy and had been a resident of 
Norfolk for ten years, residing at 957 Woodrow Ave. at the time of his death. 
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Miss Lydia Di Giovanni, of 
Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for funeral services tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be conducted at the funeral apartments 
today at 7:30 p.m.

NORFOLK — Funeral services for Roger Di Giovanni, who died Monday at a Norfolk 
hospital, were conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church yesterday at 9:30 a.m. 
by the Rev. John T. Meehan. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Pallbearers were 
Joe Puma, Larry Ewall, Russell Shepherd, Dennis Ciola, Richard Butler, Robert 
Bray and Joseph Faranda.
