She was the widow of Guiseppe DiGirolamo and the daughter of John and Mrs. Margaret DiGirolamo. A native of Italy, she had lived in Norfolk 60 years, lately at 8613 Chapin St. with her niece, Mrs. Jesse Butler. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Roma Lodge. Besides her niece, she is survived by a brother, Louis DiGirolamo of Norfolk. The body will be taken from H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Holy Trinity Catholic Church for a requiem mass Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. The rosary will be recited tonight at 7:30 o'clock at the funeral apartments. ***************************************************************************** NORFOLK — A funeral service for Mrs. Marianna DiGirolamo, widow of Giuseppe DiGirolamo, who died Sunday was held in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ocean View, Tuesday by the Rev. M. Peter Manzo. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank Montagna, Frank Iantosca and Alphonso Barbarise.
