She was a native of Selma, Ala.; was the widow of Col. Edward Dillon Jr.; and was the granddaughter of Gen. William Dorsey Pender, C.S.A., the youngest general in General Lee’s army. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Virginia Beach. She is survived by two daughters, Eleanor D. Haroldson of Lansing, Mich. and Amanda D. Taylor of Alexandria, Va.; one son, Edward Dillon IV of Ashland, Va. Memorial services were conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at the Chapel of Westminster-Canterbury by Rev. Stanley Sawyer. Memorial donations may be made to the Boys Home of Covington, Va. 24426; or Westminster-Canterbury Interdenominational Fund, Shore Drive, Virginia Beach, Va. 23454. H.D.
