This ceremony was held at historic Bethel AME Church in Harlem, and the event was a dazzle of color with bridesmaids, flower girls and all the things that go with a big wedding. On Tuesday night the bride, Mrs. Malinda France Dingle, died in a New York hospital. On Friday her funeral will be held at Bethel. On Sunday there will be a brief service at Hale’s Funeral establishment in Norfolk, and she will be buried in Calvary Cemetery. Sister of Mrs. Virginia Goffigan of 1101 Majestic avenue here and Miss Lena France, with whom she lived at 309 W. 113th street in New York City, Mrs. Dingle was a graduate of Norfolk’s Booker T. Washington High School and attended Virginia State College in Petersburg. Born 49 years ago, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George France. In addition to her sisters, the deceased is survived by three brothers, George and Daniel France of New York City and William France of Portsmouth. She also leaves three sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, four nieces and a nephew.
